Dr. Buenaventura completed his medical degree at Tulane University Medical School in New Orleans before finishing his anesthesiology residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. After his residency, Dr. Buenaventura served on active duty in the United States Air Force as a staff anesthesiologist and pain management physician at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Medical Center in Ohio. He’s certified by the American Board of Pain Medicine, the American Board of Medical Acupuncture, American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians, and the American Board of Anesthesiology, where he also has an ABA subspecialty certification in pain medicine.
