About Pain Relief of Dayton
(formerly known as Dayton Pain Med)

Pain Relief of Dayton is an outpatient interventional spine and pain management center, specializing in the treatment of chronic pain. We offer minimally invasive interventional procedures for spinal pain and many other painful conditions. Many of our clients find relief within hours and require no further treatment.

At Pain Relief of Dayton you can expect to receive state-of-the-art therapies for pain control in a comfortable and relaxed environment. In addition, we offer advanced pain therapy procedures that may require treatment in an operating room environment in a local hospital setting.

Our goal is to utilize a wide array of therapies and non-addicting medications to control pain. Through this program we hope to control your pain with fewer medications and hopefully decrease or even avoid your reliance on painkillers (i.e. opioids). We understand that some states of pain may not respond to our interventions and may require chronic opioid therapy, that is why we work closely with your primary care physician to recommend a medication regimen that both you and your doctor will be comfortable with. Together your primary care physician and Pain Relief of Dayton can help you deal with your pain better and get you on your way to a more productive and enjoyable life.

When being referred by a physician, an initial workup of your condition has been started. Sending copies of these workups and of any existing medical records or X-ray reports will be helpful. This information will help us to evaluate your painful condition thoroughly and design a thoughtful treatment regimen with the goal of reducing your pain and increasing your quality of life. You can expect to receive a regimen that is unique to your condition but consistent with current recommendations. We offer a wide range of alternatives to chronic medications but often we will use both procedural therapies and chronic medications to control your pain. When indicated we may even refer you to a physical therapist or a health psychologist for alternative treatment modalities for your pain.

Non-physician referrals are always welcome.
